The President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, and Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, have discussed the upcoming actions to be taken. Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page.
“We need to concentrate our efforts on restoring normal life in Artsakh, ensuring the return of our compatriots, and creating necessary conditions for that,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
He noted that it is essential to focus all efforts on restoring normalcy in Artsakh and creating favorable conditions for the return of the people from Artsakh. During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan reminded that the Armenian government has already made several decisions regarding financial support for our compatriots in Artsakh. He also referenced the roadmap they have planned, stating that all issues are priorities and need solutions.
“It is crucial to provide social guarantees for the families of fallen soldiers and civilians, to clarify the fate of missing persons promptly, and to ensure social guarantees for their families, as well as to assist the rehabilitation of disabled soldiers and civilians. Additionally, we must implement socio-psychological support activities,” Pashinyan said. He highlighted that both Armenia and Artsakh require significant investments after the war and that collaboration is necessary to secure these investments.
President Araik Harutyunyan informed the Prime Minister that the return of Artsakh residents is proceeding at a rapid pace. “According to our registration center data, only in the past five days, 25,000 residents have returned, and the flow continues,” the President stated.
He mentioned that there are still certain issues that need to be discussed, particularly regarding the safety of transportation routes. He expressed gratitude to the Armenian government for its prompt response and quick solutions to the raised issues.
