Russian Air Force Targets Terrorist Group in Northwestern Syria
The Russian Air Force has conducted another wave of airstrikes this week in northwestern Syria, targeting positions of the terrorist group "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" and their affiliates. According to Al-Masdar News, citing local authorities in Latakia province, the Russian air force carried out multiple strikes towards Idlib on Wednesday, resulting in the destruction of several targets belonging to jihadist insurgents in the Jabal al-Zawiya area.
It is noted that this airstrike followed the strikes that occurred one day earlier in the same region. According to sources, prior to the Russian air force's attacks on Tuesday, Turkish troops were observed departing from a northern Hama observation point, which was Ankara's largest post in the Syrian province.
