We Gave Up Artsakh, We Will Give Up Meghri and Then Yerevan: Ararat Mirzoyan
Artsakh is our homeland, our home. Homelands and homes cannot be surrendered at any cost. This was stated on the Facebook page of the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan.
“This war did not start recently. This war has been waged against us for at least several hundred years. The aim is not to take territories, not Varanda and Berdzor, nor Shushi and Stepanakert. The goal is to reduce our nation and state to a miserable and helpless farce, to erase us from the political map, and if possible, to completely exterminate us. We have prevented this in Sardarapat, in the battles of Nzhdeh, and in the Artsakh liberation struggle. We have changed the formula. This cannot be forgiven. This is what they want to break us into again, to turn us back into the silent ruin of Der Zor.
We gave up Artsakh, and we will give up Meghri and then Yerevan. We must stand firm; there is no other option. At some point, we must stand until the end. When Kriimyan Hayrik returned from the Berlin Congress, he said something besides the iron spoon. He said that blood was dripping from the knife of the Serbs, and that's why they gave them their land.
Artsakh is our homeland, our home. Homelands and homes cannot be surrendered. AT NO COST.
Long live the eternal Armenian people. We will win. Without a doubt, we will win,” he wrote.
