Second Journalist Injured in Shelling of Ghazanchetsots Church Identified
The name of the second Russian journalist injured today in Shushi has been revealed. Levon Smbat Arzanov was identified by military journalist Semyon Pegov via the Telegram channel 'Wargonzo'.
“The second injured correspondent from Russia is Arzanov Levon Smbatovich, a special correspondent for the informational portal 'Officers of Russia' and a retired lieutenant colonel. He specializes in military conflicts in Chechnya, Abkhazia, Transnistria, and Ukraine. In 2018, he served as a military advisor in Syria. He also works for the 'Force Block' informational portal and Russia’s 'Krasnaya Zvezda' newspaper,” Pegov stated.
It is reminded that Russian journalist Yuri Petrovich Kotyonnok was seriously injured as a result of Azerbaijani Armed Forces' strikes on the Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi. According to the Armenian Unified Information Center, doctors in Artsakh are fighting for his life.
