Albert and His Friends Placed Love for the Motherland Above Everything Else, Says Artsakh President

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Dear Artak,

During these difficult wartime days, unfortunately, all our thoughts and minds are on the battlefield. Therefore, allow me to express my condolences for the loss of your son, Albert, from afar. Albert has managed not only to inflict significant losses on the enemy but also to shine through his selfless service. His well-known photo uniquely reflects the spirit of our people, symbolizing the mighty essence of the Armenian nation in this war.

Artsakh highly values the feats of its heroic son, and by my decree, Albert Hovhannisyan has been awarded the 'For Courage' medal. Albert and his friends placed their love for the Motherland above everything else, and the Armenian people can and must be proud of such dedicated sons.

Today, I also read your call to transfer the money designated for flowers and wreaths for the hero's farewell ceremony to the strengthening of the Motherland. I wish to pay my respects to your human and parental nobility. Our people are invincible, as they have children like you and your son.
