Nikol Pashinyan Strips Official of Awarded Certificate
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has stripped Arthur Asoyan, the head of the Office for Coordination of Inspectorial Bodies, of a certificate of appreciation that was awarded to him earlier.
As previously reported, on September 18, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision to grant various awards. Several officials, including Arthur Asoyan, were acknowledged with a certificate of appreciation.
Today, on September 24, Nikol Pashinyan signed a new decision, removing Asoyan's name from the list of awardees.
It is noteworthy that today a meeting was held regarding the performance reports of the Food Safety and Environmental Protection and Mining Inspectorates for 2019 and the first eight months of 2020, after which the head of the Food Safety Inspectorate, Gevorg Avetisyan, was dismissed.
