Unknown Individuals Open Fire During Protest in Louisville, Two Police Officers Injured
In Louisville, Kentucky, on Wednesday, during a protest, unknown individuals opened fire, resulting in injuries to two police officers. This was reported by local WLKY television, citing law enforcement sources.
According to TASS, there is no information yet regarding the health status of the injured officers. Earlier, representatives from the city's police department informed reporters that one officer had sustained a gunshot wound.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation's division in Louisville tweeted that special forces have been dispatched to the location where the officer was injured. Bureau personnel will cooperate in conducting the investigation.
