EU to Allocate €30 Million to Armenia
During today’s cabinet meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan presented the financing agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Commission regarding the "Agreement on the Resilience to the Covid-19 Pandemic in Armenia." Mher Grigoryan noted that under the agreement, the EU will allocate €30 million to Armenia to mitigate the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The funds will be provided to the national treasury.
“This is an exceptional program aimed at counteracting the pandemic’s impacts. It is one of the programs designed to neutralize the consequences of the coronavirus, and we are also discussing two additional programs with our EU partners,” said Mher Grigoryan.
