Prime Minister Says Two Countries Artificially Lowered Coronavirus Figures, Protesters Claim
Citizens wishing to travel to Russia, who began an indefinite hunger strike in front of the government building, met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the morning. This was reported by the protesters.
“The Prime Minister accepted us and, during our conversation, stated that two specific countries have artificially lowered their coronavirus figures, while we cannot do such a thing. In any case, he provided an encouraging response, saying he would definitely try to find some solutions so that at least the issues of these 200 people could be resolved. We do not know when that will happen, whether today or in 5 days. Regardless, our action continues,” said one of the participants in the protest.
