Blood Oxygen Monitoring Pulse Oximeters for Kotayk Region Healthcare Facilities
In an effort to support the Republic of Armenia in the fight against the pandemic, the American Embassy conducted a handover ceremony for medical supplies provided by the U.S. European Command. U.S. Ambassador Lynn Tracy, along with representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and regional health departments, participated in the event.
The blood oxygen monitoring pulse oximeters and personal protective equipment allocated to the Kotayk Regional Health and Social Security Department will be distributed to healthcare facilities under regional jurisdiction.
“We thank U.S. Ambassador Lynn Tracy, Military Cooperation Office Chief Major Stephen Prater, Interagency Programs Coordinator Ani Melkumyan, as well as Lilia Abrahamyan, Director of the Lori Region Child and Family Support Center, for their initiative,” stated the Kotayk Regional Administration in its announcement.
