Toyota Camry Crashes Into Guardrail, Driver Killed on Scene

On September 11, at 01:28, the Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident on the M-2 highway, 10 km from the Kapan-Artsvank section, with casualties involved. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Syunik regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Toyota Camry vehicle (driver: Arthur S., born 1993) left the roadway and crashed into a metal guardrail, resulting in the driver's death at the scene.

Rescuers assisted passenger Meruzhan M. (born 1994) and provided him with transport to an ambulance. He was subsequently hospitalized at Kapan Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as moderate.

The rescuers also disconnected the power from the vehicle and moved Arthur S.'s body to the ambulance.
