The 13-Year-Old Girl Brutally Beaten in Gyumri Lives with Her Aunt in Her Parental Home
“Factinfo” reports that six months after the tragedy in one of the houses on Proshyan Street in Gyumri, Nazeli, who was left without parental care, is living in her parental home with her aunt. The girl is no longer as communicative as before, but the guardianship council is confident that this is temporary.
In an interview with “Factinfo,” Nelli Sargsyan, the secretary of the Guardianship and Custody Commission, stated that the commission, which includes educators and social workers, is working with the children.
Currently, her aunt has been recognized as the guardian of Nazeli, who also lives with her elder brother, whose 18th birthday is on September 22. The children are living in their parental home. The community is providing assistance to them as much as possible, and their health condition is currently normal and satisfactory. They are always in contact with their aunt.
“At the moment, they are receiving financial assistance from the community, with a projected amount of around 30,000 drams that will be provided in October. The council session will take place in October, and they will receive help. They are enrolled in a family benefit program and receive support of up to 50,000 drams as children left without parental care,
