School Year Start in Georgia Delayed Until October 1
The Georgian government has postponed the start of the school year in major cities until October 1 due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus. This was reported by TASS, citing Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
The delay affects schools and higher education institutions in the cities of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti, and Batumi.
