22-Year-Old Driver Crashes Mitsubishi into Earth Embankment in Aragatsotn Region: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

On September 10, a tragic car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 21:30, 22-year-old Arayik Karapetyan, a resident of the village of Byurakan, crashed his Mitsubishi Pajero io into the stone slabs placed at the roadside under still unknown circumstances. The vehicle overturned several times and ended up upside down in the middle of the road.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver died at the scene, while one person was taken to the Ashtarak Medical Center with injuries. Villagers were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed by doctors from the Ashtarak hospital who arrived promptly to administer first aid before transferring the injured to the hospital.
