New Details from Investigative Committee on Alcohol Poisoning Case in Armavir
The investigation into the alcohol poisoning case involving several residents of Armavir city continues at the Armavir regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee. During the preliminary investigation of the mass poisoning case, it was found that a total of 27 individuals were affected by alcohol poisoning, 10 of whom died.
All 27 individuals mentioned in the criminal case have been recognized as victims. It should be noted that based on the combination of sufficient evidence, charges have been filed against one person under Article 207 (Production or sale of counterfeit wine, counterfeit vodka, or other counterfeit alcoholic beverages for sale) of the RA Criminal Code, part 2. Additionally, two other individuals are charged under Article 38-207 (Assisting in the production or sale of counterfeit wine, counterfeit vodka, or other counterfeit alcoholic beverages for sale) of the RA Criminal Code, part 2. For them, a detention measure has been applied.
