Another Death Recorded from Alcohol Poisoning

Another new case of death from alcohol poisoning has been reported in the last day. This was announced to NEWS.am by Alina Nikoghosyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health.

Currently, 5 citizens are being treated in the hospital, and no new cases of poisoning have been recorded. Thus, the number of deaths from alcohol poisoning has reached 18.

A total of 46 cases of poisoning have been reported, of which 29 occurred in the Armavir region, 7 in Yerevan, and 2 in the Kotayk region. All affected individuals were poisoned by methanol.

Three men who sold the alcohol, which was turned into vodka, are in custody, two of whom are residents of Armavir.
