2 People Die from COVID-19 in the Last 24 Hours: Aged 79 and 89

As of September 9 at 11:00 AM, there have been a total of 45,152 confirmed cases of coronavirus, of which 41,023 have recovered, and 905 have resulted in death. Currently, 2,945 patients are undergoing treatment for the virus. A total of 224,559 tests have been conducted.

In the last day, 3,518 tests were carried out, confirming 199 new cases of the disease. There are 431 recoveries reported.

Regarding the deaths, the Ministry of Health reports that the patients were 89 years old (female) and 79 years old (male). Both had pre-existing chronic illnesses. On the previous day, there were 3 documented deaths of patients confirmed with coronavirus, but their deaths were due to other health issues. The total number of such cases stands at 279.
