Collision on Ijevan-Noyemberyan Road Involves Infiniti and Mercedes; 4 Hospitalized
On September 7, at 22:58, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a road accident near the Tavush regional rescue department. It was determined that on the 2nd kilometer of the M-4 Ijevan-Noyemberyan road, vehicles of the brands ‘Infiniti’ (driver: Vahagn M.) and ‘Mercedes-Benz E320’ (driver: Lazr B., born in 1978) collided.
Before rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the ‘Mercedes-Benz E320’, along with passengers Aida B. (born in 1978) and Lili B. (born in 2015), were extracted from the vehicle by local forces and transported to Ijevan Medical Center.
Rescuers managed to retrieve passenger Nina G. (born in 1953) from the ‘Mercedes-Benz E320’ and brought her to an ambulance; she has also been hospitalized at Ijevan Medical Center. Doctors have assessed the health condition of the injured as satisfactory.
Rescuers de-energized the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves. It has been reported that at 00:30 on September 8, Tigran M. (born in 1993), a passenger of the ‘Infiniti’, arrived at Ijevan Medical Center, where his health condition was also assessed as satisfactory.
