«Hraparak». «I brought you here, and I will also remove you» - Why the director of the medical center does not show up for work

«Hraparak» newspaper reports that Armen Hakverdian, the director of the Hrazdan Medical Center, has not shown up for work since June 26. His deputy is currently filling in for him. Sources indicate that the reason for his absence is a conflict with former Kotayk governor Romanos Petrosyan.

Petrosyan himself had appointed Hakverdian to this position, but subsequently, their relationship soured. The former governor allegedly sent the medical center's director on leave, with the intention that he would not return from it. Reportedly, he said, “I brought you here, and I will also remove you,” echoing a sentiment almost akin to Taras Bulba’s words to his traitorous son: “I gave you life, I will also kill you.”

The Hrazdan hospital confirmed that the director has not shown up for two months. However, when attempts were made to reach any responsible official to explain why the director is absent, the phone was turned off.
