Explosion Occurs; A Gas Tanker has Detonated, Says Armavir Village Mayor

Today, a fire broke out at the "Proshyan Brandy Factory" in Armavir village. Preliminary reports indicate there are two fatalities and four injuries.

In an interview with ArmDaily.am, Armavir village mayor Rafik Margaryan stated that it is still unclear what caused the explosion. He mentioned, "It was a result of safety regulations being violated; there was an accident, and a gas tanker has detonated."

When asked whether any homes or residents of the village were affected by the explosion, Margaryan responded, "No. Inside, people have sustained burns, and there are casualties. I cannot say how many have been hospitalized."
