97 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia, 2 Deaths Reported
As of September 1, 97 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 43,878.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 2 citizens died from the virus in one day, increasing the death toll to 881.
During the last day, there were no recorded deaths of patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses. As of September 1, the total number of such death cases stands at 268. Overall, the total number of deaths has reached 1,149.
In the past day, the number of recoveries was 634, totaling 38,356. Currently, there are 4,373 patients under treatment, which is a decrease of 539 in one day.
In terms of testing, 989 tests were conducted in one day, with a cumulative total of 206,929 tests conducted to date.
