Two Individuals Arrested on Suspicion of Bribery for Military Service Exemption
In a criminal case under investigation by the Military Investigative Main Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, regarding the organization of the process of issuing false medical diagnoses and other means to exempt conscripts from mandatory military service or to grant deferrals to potential conscripts during the second conscription of 2020, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of providing a particularly large bribe in violation of Article 38-312, Part 3, Point 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
Additionally, one more person has been arrested on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 312, Part 3, Point 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia for providing a particularly large bribe. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
