Man Delivers Multiple Blows with Hands and Feet to 39-Year-Old Resident, Leading to His Death

On August 31, 2020, around 02:00, in the vicinity of one of the private houses on 2nd dead-end street of Upper Karmir Aghbyur community in Berd, during a dispute regarding household matters, a 35-year-old resident of Yerevan unlawfully inflicted multiple blows with his hands and feet to the head and various parts of the body of a 39-year-old resident of Berd, resulting in injuries incompatible with life that led to the victim's death on the spot.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Berd investigative department of the Tavush regional investigative office of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia under the first part of Article 104 (murder) of the RA Criminal Code. The 35-year-old resident of Yerevan has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the 39-year-old man. The investigation is ongoing.
