Grounds Are Unstable and Dangerous: Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia Border Road Closed for Trucks

The M6, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border interstate road, is closed to truck traffic due to unstable and dangerous grounds discovered during the construction of a retaining wall in the "Engels" neighborhood of Alaverdi.

As such, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border road will be closed to truck traffic until September 6, until the completion of the retaining wall construction and the filling process. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

Truck drivers are advised to take the detour via the Dilijan-Ijevan-Noyemberyan road.
