Fire-Related Accident in Gyumri: One Fatality

On August 31, at 02:39, the regional crisis management center received a report of an accident with a fire outbreak at the intersection of Shirakatsi and Gertsen streets in Gyumri.

A team of three firefighting units from the Shirak region's emergency management agency was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a 'Mercedes C' vehicle, driven by Misha M. (born in 1996), had gone off the roadway, crashed into curb stones and trees, then overturned and caught fire.

The fire was contained by 02:58 and extinguished by 03:00. Rescuers discovered the driver’s body inside the burned vehicle and transported it to an ambulance.
