Government Announces New Candidate for Constitutional Court Judge
The government has announced its new candidate for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court. This was reported by e-gov.am.
According to the decision, "Guided by Article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Normative Legal Acts, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides: 1. To replace the words "Vahram Avetisyan" in point 1 of the decision N 1232-A of July 23, 2020, on the nomination of a candidate for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court with the words "Edgar Shatiryan".
It is worth noting that earlier the government had presented Vahram Avetisyan's candidacy, which was then withdrawn after a meeting of the 'My Step' alliance.
