The Ministry of Defense Has Not Yet Confirmed the Presence of an Armenian Soldier in Azerbaijan: Tigran Abrahamyan
Tigran Abrahamyan, the president of the analytical center "Henkaket", wrote on his Facebook page:
“The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has not yet confirmed the fact of this soldier's presence in Azerbaijan; however, it states that the soldier is not at a combat position and search efforts are underway to locate him. At first glance, this ambiguous phrasing is unclear, but considering that many circumstances related to this incident are still under verification, the Ministry is understandably cautious in its public statements.
It is clear that regardless of the reasons and circumstances, Azerbaijan will primarily seek to exploit this incident for its propaganda purposes. The first statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense already indicates this.”
