First Graders to Attend School from September 14, Others from September 15 - MoES
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoES) has published a guideline for the organization of activities in educational institutions under the conditions of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This was reported by the MoES.
Due to the epidemic situation caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country, the educational process in public education institutions will start on September 15, 2020, for all levels of education (elementary, middle, and high) with in-person teaching. First graders will attend school on September 14, accompanied by one person.
The first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year will consist of 13 weeks. In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the educational process in public educational institutions will be carried out in compliance with the rules set forth in this guideline.
The guideline is mandatory for all public educational institutions, regardless of their organizational and legal form. The responsibility for ensuring a healthy and safe working and educational environment lies entirely with the director of the public educational institution.
