Wanted by Russian Law Enforcement Found in Yerevan
Police officers of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime, acting on operational information, discovered and detained 39-year-old Gevorg G. in a café on Nairi Zaryan Street in Yerevan on August 19. He has been wanted by law enforcement in the Republic of Bashkortostan since December 30, 2019, on charges under Article 210.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (Occupying a High Position in the Criminal Environment).
The measure of restraint is detention. The discovery has been reported to the Prosecutor General's Office, Interpol's Armenian Bureau, and the entity that initiated the search.
