New Details Emerge on the Case of a Girl Found Dead Near a TV Tower in Yerevan; Suspect Has Crossed the Armenian-Iranian Border
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police, along with the Central and Erebuni police departments, the Police Department of Marash, and the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan Investigative Department of Central and Norq-Marsash, have undertaken significant operational and investigative measures to identify the victim found dead in a ravine near the TV tower in the Norq-Marsash administrative district on August 17.
It has been determined that the victim was 26-year-old Satenik H. from the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan. Preliminary findings by the forensic expert indicated signs of violence on the body.
According to reports, under the instruction of Vladimir Asatryan, Deputy Head of the Investigative Division for Central and Norq-Marsash, a criminal case has been initiated on charges of murder as per the Criminal Code of Armenia. The suspect in this case is identified as 32-year-old Hamidoeza Sadefarad, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who had been residing temporarily in the Ajapnyak administrative district. Sources indicate that he has already crossed the Armenian-Iranian border.
Previously, it was reported that on August 17, a horrendous incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 15:20, a call was received at the central police department reporting a body in the ravine near the TV tower on Hovsepian Street in the Norq-Marsash administrative district.
