Condition of 6-Year-Old Child Assaulted in Tavush Remains Critical; 4-Year-Old Brother Also Transferred to Yerevan
On the previous day, two children who were brutally assaulted by a relative in the Khachataraq community of Tavush Province are currently being treated at the "Surp Astvatsamayr" Medical Center in Yerevan.
This was reported by Gevorg Derazyan, spokesperson for the medical center, on his Facebook page. "The second child, a 4-year-old, who was beaten by a 58-year-old man in one of Tavush's villages, has also been transferred to Yerevan's 'Surp Astvatsamayr' hospital. The child is partially conscious and has a cranial hemorrhage; a medical examination is currently underway. Meanwhile, the condition of the 6-year-old child remains critical. He has sustained multiple injuries, including brain and kidney damage, as well as bruising on his limbs. He is unconscious and on a ventilator. The child's life is in danger," he stated.
