Citizens Who Died from Coronavirus Had Underlying Chronic Conditions

As of August 20 at 11:00, a total of 42,319 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, among which 35,476 have recovered and 836 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 5,756 patients receiving treatment for the virus. A total of 190,560 tests have been conducted. This information was released by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

Thus, there are 263 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus and 250 recoveries. The deceased patients were aged 61 (female), 55 (male), and 81 (female). All had underlying chronic conditions.

In the previous day, 2 deaths were recorded where patients had confirmed coronavirus infection, but death was due to other health issues. The total number of such cases is 251.
