Cafeteria at Tomsk Airport Closes Following News of Navalny's Poisoning
The "Vienna" cafeteria at Tomsk's Bogashevo Airport has closed after reports emerged that Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny's condition deteriorated after drinking tea at the cafeteria. This was reported by the Ruptly news agency.
Navalny's press secretary, Kira Yarmysh, stated that the politician drank tea at the airport before boarding a flight to Moscow. According to Yarmysh, Navalny was poisoned by something mixed into his tea.
As previously reported, Alexei Navalny's health sharply declined while on the plane. The aircraft made an emergency landing in Omsk, where the politician was hospitalized. Omsk doctors have reported that they are fighting for Alexei Navalny's life. The political figure's condition is stable, but he remains in a coma.
