Two People Killed During Protests in Belarus
Two individuals have died during protests in Belarus, one of whom was in Minsk. This was announced by the acting Minister of Health, Vladimir Karanik, who came out to meet with gathered doctors outside the Ministry of Health at the request of the protesters.
According to him, there are 158 people in hospitals, three of whom are in serious condition. The condition of the rest is stable and not critical. Six individuals have been arrested on Okrystina Street, and doctors are currently examining them. The Minister stated that medical personnel are allowed to enter the facilities where the offenders are located.
The primary demand from the doctors is that they be permitted to enter isolation rooms to examine patients and address hospitalization issues, as reported by Sputnik-Belarus. Karanik also stated that he has no information regarding 83 individuals being reported missing during the protests.
