More than 20 People Have Died in a Landslide in Nepal, 40 More Are Missing
A landslide has occurred in central Nepal, triggered by heavy rainfall. Under the collapsed earth, 30 houses have been affected. Authorities report that 38 people are missing, with at least 16 casualties confirmed. This information was provided by the Reuters news agency.
The incident took place in the Sindhupalchok district.
Additionally, another landslide has occurred in western Nepal’s Kalikot district, where 6 civilians have lost their lives.
According to the agency, since the beginning of the year, floods and landslides in the country have resulted in the deaths of 215 people.
