How Were Ministers' Salaries Doubled Without Changes to the Law? Marukyan

The head of the "Light Armenia" faction in the National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan, made the following post on his Facebook page: "Today, the Prime Minister announced that the state budget is in all of our pockets. I cannot disagree with this important thought, but this raises the question of how exactly one year ago, the salaries of ministers were increased from 750,000 drams to 1.5 million and, in the same manner, the salaries of deputy ministers and regional governors were secretly doubled without any changes to the law, a fact only discussed in the media after publications."
