Severe Beating of 47-Year-Old Syrian-Armenian in Yerevan Over Parking Dispute
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a 47-year-old Syrian-Armenian named Sargis Hannean was brutally assaulted on August 7 in the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan. Relatives of S. Hannean told Shamshyan, “Who would have thought that in Armenia, especially in Yerevan, Sargis would be subjected to such a severe beating in front of a child over parking a car?”
The incident occurred between 10:00 and 10:30 AM, and the assailants were reportedly shop owners. For the past two days, they have been trying to convince Sargis not to contact the police, claiming they would cover his hospital expenses, but even that has proven to be a false promise.
Currently, he is receiving treatment at the “Slavmed” medical center. Today, we are preparing to file a complaint with the Arabkir police, believing that the police will find the perpetrators and ensure they receive the full punishment prescribed by law.
