Nikol Pashinyan Monitors Developments Around Amulsar

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is monitoring the developments surrounding Amulsar, Press Secretary Mane Gevorgyan has stated in an interview with Aysor.am.

“Yes, we are monitoring; everyone is following the developments,” she said.

When asked whether the Prime Minister will meet with activists opposing the mining operations in the Amulsar area, Gevorgyan indicated that she cannot provide comments at this time.

It is noteworthy that protests have been ongoing in Amulsar for the fourth consecutive day. The situation escalated after security personnel from “Lydian Armenia” removed a trailer belonging to Amulsar’s guardians.

“Lydian Armenia” has announced that it has removed “illegal property” from its premises.
