Fatal Collision in Kotayk Region Involving Opel and VAZ 21091: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

Today, August 7, a serious and tragic traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 02:00, vehicles driven by 25-year-old Aram M., a resident of Gavar, and 29-year-old Gegham K., from the village of Byurakan, collided on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 40 km mark.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the accident resulted in the death of Khoreh H., a passenger in the VAZ 21091. Both driver Gegham K. and Opel driver Aram M., along with Aram’s passenger, 32-year-old Edward A. from the village of Sarukhan, were taken to the Hrazdan Medical Center with injuries.

As a result of the collision, the gas cylinder from the VAZ 21091 was torn off and thrown away.
