Azerbaijani Hackers Claim to Have Breached Government Internal Network: Samvel Martirosyan
Media expert Samvel Martirosyan writes on his Facebook page: "Azerbaijani hackers report that they have managed to penetrate the government internal network and steal 55 terabytes of information. Don’t ask me if this is true or false. I am not aware. It would just be nice to hear comments and understand when Armenia will finally have a unified cybersecurity center, when the protection of critical infrastructure will be put on the agenda, and finally, when we will hear that someone is being held accountable for the leaks. There have been so many data breaches; not once have we heard about the cause of the breach being discovered and who is responsible for it. P.S. If this leak really happened, then we are in deep trouble."
Auroranews is trying to verify the information from Armen Khachatryan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Government, and Mané Gevorgyan, spokesperson for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, but has so far been unable to reach them.
