Amulsar's 2nd Outpost: Lydian Has Unilaterally Established Its Hut, Claims Tehmine Yenokyan
Journalist and environmental activist Tehmine Yenokyan has stated on her Facebook page: "Lydian has unilaterally taken over the 2nd outpost in Amulsar and has set up its hut. This is a report of a crime to the Armenian Police.
Dear Armenian Police, Lydian, the criminal company, has disregarded the entire police system last night, ignoring the document provided by Police Chief, Major A. Armenakyan, which clearly states which section of the road belongs to Lydian and which section is public property.
It should be noted that the company did not participate in the sign markings, citing a lack of permission from management as a reason for their refusal.
The police also informed that the whole process was recorded on video. The police response states: "Thus, it has been established that the mobile homes are not located in areas owned by the company, and there are no individuals present in those plots; therefore, there is no encroachment."
If the police tolerated Lydian's actions and this crime, then the criminal company was able to circumvent our country’s law enforcement system and blatantly disregard all norms, laws, and rights, while our law enforcement system took no action.
It is encouraged to spread the word. For those who read and care, let's go to Jermuk to support the demands of the locals!"
