Former Deputy Mayor of Yerevan and Gevorg Hakobyan Will Not Be Detained
The former Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Vahe Nikoyan, and the former director of a company under the jurisdiction of the city council, Gevorg Hakobyan, will not be detained. The court has rejected the request of the investigator from the Special Investigative Service.
This information was provided to NEWS.am in response to an inquiry from the Special Investigative Service. They also added that Nikoyan and Hakobyan have been charged under Articles 308, Part 2 (abuse of official authority) and 314, Part 1 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
