We Will Witness Another Change in Law Enforcement Leaders: Arsen Babayan
In the near future, we will witness another change in the leaders of law enforcement agencies who have failed to meet the Prime Minister's expectations. This was stated by Arsen Babayan, a member of the board of the 'Homeland' party and a human rights defender, on his Facebook page.
"The fact that law enforcement agencies, which have become tools in the Prime Minister's hands to suppress political opponents, are attempting to initiate criminal proceedings against the president of the 'Homeland' party, Arthur Vanetsyan, for events that only provoke laughter among lawyers, speaks to two facts: 1. First, as Arthur Vanetsyan has repeatedly stated, he has not committed any act for which he could be held accountable. The clear evidence of this is that for more than a year, the state’s entire law enforcement system has found no serious grounds. 2. Not far into the future, we will witness another change in law enforcement leaders who have failed to meet the Prime Minister's expectations.
The unfortunate part is that the latest appointees are well aware of this and, in order to extend their tenure, will resort to various illegalities.
