"MoES will not be limited by notorious criteria": Gevorg Emin-Teryan
The spokesperson of Yerevan State University, Gevorg Emin-Teryan, wrote on his Facebook page:
“Dear friends, especially teachers, it is already clear that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoES) will not be limited by notorious criteria. New fronts will emerge, one of which I assume will be the limitations on the rights of Armenian language and literature teachers (certifications, retraining), which may evolve into persecution. To prevent that and to protect the rights of teachers, we can establish a ‘Union of Armenian Language and Literature Teachers’, which will not only focus on protecting teachers' rights but will also document the problems in the field and try to solve them, and organize certain training courses. The union fee can be a symbolic sum of 100 drams per month, in return for which teachers will receive legal and other kinds of advice and support. What do you say?”
