Minister of Education Comments on Accusation of Turkish Orders

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, took to his Facebook page to address recent statements regarding the forces that handed General Andranik over to the Turks. He stated:

“The very forces that handed General Andranik to the Turks and opposed the restoration of Armenia’s independence are now declaring our educational standards developers as agents carrying out Turkey's orders. You have dedicated your entire lives to serving your narrow group interests and have yet to understand what the state interest truly is. Educational reform will occur, regardless of your outcry.”
