Azerbaijani President Deems Negotiations with Artsakh Impossible
The President of Azerbaijan considers negotiations with Artsakh impossible, deeming them absolutely unacceptable. This was reported by Ria.ru.
During a meeting with youth in the Balakən region, Aliyev specifically stated: “Recently, I was informed that the Prime Minister of Armenia has set seven conditions before Azerbaijan. I believe any reasonable person can clearly see that none of those conditions are acceptable. One of the conditions is that Azerbaijan must negotiate with the Republic of Artsakh. That is impossible. No one recognizes such a republic. If Armenia has the courage, it should recognize the Republic of Artsakh,” Aliyev said in his speech.
According to him, this undermines the foundation of the negotiation process.
