Decapitated and Decomposed Body Found in Iron Pipe of Irrigation System in Nor Geghi, Kotayk Region

Today, July 28, a mysterious incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 15:30, the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that there was a body in the iron pipe of the irrigation system located in the apple orchards within the administrative territory of Nor Geghi village.

Rescuers, with the assistance of local citizens, used a specialized electric welding device to extract the decapitated and completely decomposed male body with great difficulty.

By the directive of the head of the Kotayk Regional Police, S. Kocharyan, operational groups were established in the police departments of Nairi and Charentsavan, as well as in the New Hachn division to determine the identity of the body. Another operational group led by the head of New Hachn, Artak Mkrtchyan, has already gone to the likely address of residence.
