Fight Near Lake Sevan Among Women, Men, and Police Due to Mask Mandate Noncompliance
In the vicinity of Lake Sevan, near the island, a brawl occurred between police officers conducting emergency services and individuals present at the site. This was reported by Tert.am.
Witnesses told Tert.am's correspondent that the altercation stemmed from a failure to comply with the police's legal request. The demand was related to not wearing masks along the shore of Sevan and inside a vehicle, prompting questions about the necessity of such a requirement outdoors.
Women also intervened in the fight. During the approximately ten-minute brawl, police officers were attacked and verbally abused. Some time after the incident, one of the participants hurled insults at a police officer and demanded clarification.
