Suicide Attempt Prevented from Yerevan's Victory Bridge
On July 22, at 3:27 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off Yerevan's Victory Bridge. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department and an instructor from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene. Through the combined efforts of rescuers, the instructor from the Psychological Support Division, the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and citizens, the suicide attempt of Razmik P. (born in 1996) was prevented. The individual was subsequently transferred to the Central Police Department.
At the site, the instructor from the Psychological Support Division provided psychological assistance to the citizen.
