The Adversary Targets Educational Institutions: Minister of Education
During a press briefing today, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan stated: "Today we visited several communities together with the governor of Tavush province, specifically Aygepar, Nerkhin Karmiraghbyur, Movses, and Berd. In some of these locations, we also visited educational institutions. We were interested in how the educational institutions are prepared or preparing for September 1," he said, adding, "We are currently discussing in-person education methods for September 1, but this is compounded by the tense military situation around several communities. We were also interested in how schools are prepared from the perspective of shelters and security. Essentially, there are shelters, but together with the governor, we have given several instructions to the school leaders and have also discussed with the community administrations to ensure they receive support in this regard. By September 1, not only in the communities we visited but also in other border communities, proper preparations are made in terms of shelters so that we are ensured safety on September 1," the minister mentioned.
According to him, the adversary has targeted educational institutions.
“From the standpoint of educational rights and the right to life, this is an unacceptable situation. We have called on our colleagues to join the fight against these intolerable phenomena,” the minister said.
